2025/11/11:

Started working on Ketsui today. This shows my best full runs of stages 1 and 2 so far.

Stage 1 is pretty straightforward, but still a little dangerous as I get used to the lock-on mechanic. 

Stage 2 can spiral out of control pretty fast if you don't speedkill everything (that seems to be the theme of Ketsui). Otherwise it's not too bad and seems fairly reliable with at least one bomb. Main bombs points are:
- Midboss final pattern
- Boss when the red shots come from the side

11/13: Stage 3 practice, focusing on hidden extend and boss routing. Best full stage run is a 1-miss.
11/14: Stage 4 routing.
11/16: Stage 5 routing. Total time: 6.5hrs
- Best stage run analysis: 5 deaths, 17 bombs

12/1-12/9: Full game practice. Getting fairly consistent at later stages. Not consistent in longer runs. Need to put together into longer segments. Best full-game run is a 4cc (ended 1cc attempt around stage 4 boss). Able to clear from stage 5 assuming no-miss until then.
12/25: Multiple 2cc runs. Need more consistency on early stages.
12/26: 1cc. Total playtime recorded on Z Fold 7 was around 40hrs. Probably did around 10-20hrs on PC, so total 50-60hrs.

Practice Points

[ ] 1-4 boss - reduce bomb usage
[ ] 1-3 boss first pattern
[ ] 1-3 boss - setup to avoid bomb before final pattern (damage race)
[ ] 1-5 big plane - no-bomb
